Since I was a little girl the beauty industry captivated my heart, my mother had a small hair salon and that’s where my love for making women feel beautiful came from. I started my journey over 2 years ago and the more I learn the more I fall in love with empowering women of all ages to go out there and follow their passion. The Eyes are truly the windows of the Soul and I strive to make every window as striking as possible. Lashes and Brows are truly Life changing.

Hello, my name is Celina Sanchez. I am a Lash Artist and Lash Instructor here at AVL Image Academy. I have been a lash artist for a little over 2 years. What inspires me to teach is being able to impact lives and help students find a passion in the beauty industry and make a career out of it. I love that I am able to make students feel good about themselves and help them gain confidence once they see how amazing their work starts to show progress week by week. My goal is to share my knowledge, tips and provide the most hands-on practice to help students become the best Lash Artist’s. Lastly, have patience with yourself. Practice makes perfect!

Hello! My name is Esperanza Rocha! I am the instructor of the esthetics and waxing techniques course. With my teaching techniques you will learn from zero to more advance technique, giving my students the opportunity to get as much hand on learn so they have a full understanding what why we do what we do. With the knowledge and training, you will be ready to start your business and work with clients. You will learn the newest techniques and trends in skin care. Hi, I’m Lorena Diaz, I go by Lo or Lore. I’m the Professional Makeup artist instructor her at AVL Academy. I’ve always loved makeup from a very young age. I used to sneak eyeliner in middle school during school hours to only then rush to take it off before I went home. Finally sophomore year of high school my mom let me wear makeup but no foundation so I rushed to Clair’s and got the most colorful eyeshadow palette I could find. Like a lot of makeup lovers, I first started doing my own makeup and little by little I experimented with much more advance makeup looks. Fast forward to 2017 I got my first makeup job as a Bene Babe for Benefit Cosmetics, followed by a Beauty Advisor for Impulse Beauty inside Macys. Then in 2018 I moved back to Sacramento and got a job at Bare Minerals and finally a few months later I got my dream job at the time, a Beauty Artist for MAC Cosmetics! Now I’m super excited to start my journey as a makeup instructor for AVL Academy and share my techniques, knowledge and love I have for makeup! I cannot wait to share my passion to others and get they of seeing my students process.

Hello all! I’m Natividad Laguna. I teach the Professional Barbering Techniques courses here at AVL Academy. I have focused my passion for hair, for love and to create. I love people, love to work with people and to teach. I find it very fulfilling teaching people from many backgrounds to learning something new. I am blessed to be part of the  AVL Academy teaching team as the Barber Instructor. My goals and passion for hair allows me to teach my students their customers needs and create a master piece.

Hello! I’m Nicole Sandoval, the Professional Hair Extensions and modeling instructor here at AVL Academy. I started my career in the beauty world for a little over 12 years, started from doing my family members and friends hair back in my home town and from there I dedicated more time in bettering my knowledge and skills.I have experience in the profesional modeling field for 6 years, from my experience it’s very important to me to provide a good learning environment for all my students to feel confortable to be themselves and challenge themselves to learning something new. I love to encourage my students to get out of their comfort zone and not be afraid to do mistakes or get something wrong, it’s part of the learning experience.

Hello and welcome all! I’m Rene Alejandro Limon, one of AVL Academy founders. Hair has always been one of my greatest passions, growing up. I love to try and experiment in doing various of different hairstyles. I knew then that the beauty industry was my passion and my calling. I always dreamt of opening my very own beauty school and sharing my years of knowledge to others. Being in the beauty industry for little over 20 years, it’s extremely important to me to provide a positive and help learning environment for all student interested in learning.
