Yes, your PHASE I instructor must pass you 100% for you to access PHASE II. If you do not pass the first phase, you must retake the class with the lowest score from PHASE I to continue with your next training phase and obtain your course certificate.

No, a license is not required to take the course, but remember that to offer and charge for the service, you must have a California Barbering license or at least be a Barbering student in any traditional or Apprenticeship program with a California student license.

You can make payments automatically with no additional fees, through Zelle® at payments@avlacademy.io, or with debit, credit cards, or cash at the front desk of the academy.

Your classes are never lost. Our coordination staff will notify you of the make-up date to attend the academy and take your class again. The make-up class fee is $99.

Yes, to receive your certificate, you must complete all program hours, attend all your classes, and pass every assignment given by the instructor during the course (PHASE I and PHASE II). You cannot attend the graduation ceremony if you have any pending classes or assignments.

The delivery of the certificate is made, once you complete all the classes and class work in the 2 phases. Your instructor will give you your certificate and your graduation stole, so you can take pictures with your classmates.
