This hair extensions course is designed for students and cosmetologists who want to venture into the world of hair extensions and Hair Keratin treatment. We will train you in the methods of application of 4 techniques to obtain a professional result in your client in the area of Hair Extensions and You will also learn about the application, types and care and maintenance of the Keratin treatment. All the techniques taught in our professional courses can be performed on a person as a client as long as you have a license as a cosmetologist granted through the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. This program does not lead to a state license.

  • Finalization and blending of the extensions.

  • Choosing the right extensions for each client.

  • Subsequent care of the service performed.

  • Removal and installation of hair extensions.

  • Damaged extensions and their proper care.

  • Blending extensions for a natural look.

  • Introduction to keratin treatments

  • Identification of different types of keratin suitable for different types of hair. (Keratins free of toxic ingredients).

  • Knowledge of hair texture before applying keratin

  • Precautions to follow before applying the keratin treatment

  • Correct application and knowledge of the technique

  • Care and maintenance of anti-frizz smoothing.

Yes, to work in a professional beauty salon or to offer services independently, you must have a Cosmetology license issued by the state of California or any other state where you live and provide hair extension and keratin services.

You can buy it from various beauty supply stores. There are also online brands where you can purchase it directly from them, but in some cases, you may need a cosmetology license to place an order. PHASE I to continue with your next training phase and obtain your course certificate.

We include 4 techniques: Tape-in (adhesive tape extensions), Beaded (micro-bead extensions), Fusion (keratin extensions), and Hand-Tied Weft (hand-sewn weft extensions).

The kit includes tools for each type of hair extension and technique taught in the course, 4 types of hair extensions for practice, a long hair mannequin, and professional products and materials. It also includes a professional keratin treatment kit.

No, anyone interested in this course can take it. Remember that our courses help you gain experience in different areas of beauty. However, to work in a salon or provide services independently, you need a Cosmetology license from the state of California or the state where you live.
